Just need 1 mediocre or better goalie and it would be a really scary team. BUT I would say this defense will likely make Mrazek look mediocre.

No. the defense in front of him is REALLY good. Mrazek is the beneficiary. He's still a whole on this team. It's not like anyone says...I WANT Mrazek in net. It's more like he's there.

Mrazek still had to sit there and make the saves. He was perfectly fine as a goalie last year, he had a great HDS%, and he was very good when Carolina did give up the bad shots, he's not Gibson, or Bob, but he's a good goalie still when he needs to be

No he wasn’t. He was excellent for a 15 game stretch towards the end of the year.

He had a save % under .900 at the All-star break. Was pulled in the playoffs for ineffectiveness. Other than that hot streak he was his usual self, a KHL caliber goalie. Should not have been re-signed. Would not have had he not had the hot streak. Won’t surprise me if Reimer ends up better option, and Ned being better than both.
