In short, for each piece:
1. Columbus doesn't need to rush moving Elvis, and probably doesn't need to retain to get a team to take him.
2. Provorov will be worth more half-retained at TDL and not stapled to Elvis' contract.
3. Kampf is a nonstarter for reasons others have stated.
4. No need for Niemela, another RD who would be stuck behind Jiricek, Severson, Boqvist, and Gudbranson, in that order, with no path to the NHL anytime soon.
5. No interest in Robertson, another undersized middle-6 winger who isn't better than the 6 or so of those we already have.
If we want to move Elvis and Provorov, we can send Elvis to any number of teams in the offseason without retaining for next-to-nothing, and move Provorov for a pick at the TDL. No need to complicate things.
