Also doubt we'd be able re-sign Petey, Hronek, improve the Defence AND sign Guentzel to the contract he wants pretty sure plan is to keep Hoglander and in a year or two have Lekkermaki push to play with either Petey or Miller to save cap space

Way too much for Guentzel

Reilly Smith turns 33 at the end of this season, has one year left on his contract and even at $3.5 million, is too expensive for a third-line forward. Los Angeles probably wouldn't have any interest in him no matter what the price, but imagining them paying their 2024 first for him (when their primary need is in goal) is really out there.

The last thing the Kings need is another left-handed winger.
