Pettersson can’t come with an extension since he has multiple years left under contract. I also don’t think he alone makes Columbus a contender? They have some major holes defensively to fix and Juricik should help with that.



No, they don’t consider, Pettersson is good but he isn’t worth 2-3 of our long term building blocks, Juricik is likely to be a top pair RHD, Sillinger will likely be a good 2nd line center and current mock drafts have Michkov sitting a 5th OA, I’m sorry, he might be a bit to come over, but Michkov will be as good if not better then KK97. Columbus also currently sits 3rd getting Leo Carlsson who imo will be as good if not better than Pettersson.

And honestly from a Vancouver side, Pettersson and Hughes shouldn’t be traded as they are the building blocks that a team should build around.
