Yeah the islanders definitely do not touch this. As much potential Eklund has Barzal is way too much to give up. San Jose fans will probably say no because "rebuilding" but the management and ownership disagrees. So the owners would normally accept this but how tf can they afford Fiala and Barzal with no outgoing cap. So they have to reject full stop. wild probably accept if this is the first deal proposed but depends on if there is a bidding war. Overall, not the worst thing ive ever seen on this site but trade does not make much sense tbh.

Sujet: New Coach - Optimism

That's a lot to give up for a guy who is very damn good but also only two seasons away from ufa. Doubt Lamoriello does this without something agreed (is that even allowed?). The Arizona trade doesn't make sense either. Why are they trading ghost for bailey and then adding more? better to keep him and flip at the deadline for a solid return. They dont need an aging winger right now in the heart of their rebuild. Overall not awful, just some minor issues with team fit and value/risk. cheers.

Value is way too light for Fiala. I think you definitely have to add. I feel the price is gonna be an early first + decent prospect or late first + great prospect. Either way this is not enough and Hoffman going the other way makes no sense at all. Minnesota needs to shed cap not add.

I feel If and that's a massive If price gets traded its gonna be to Vancouver and that's literally it. Cant see a person with a full no move uprooting to go anywhere but home. This is moot anyway because the canucks dont need him with demko anyway. Price likely retires a hab in my humble opinion.

Im not sure the value isn't horrible at all. I just think LA doesn't have much incentive to make this move. Better to keep the Solid prospects and continue the build. Obviously what do I know but these rushed rebuilds can sometimes explode. Not saying it wont happen but this is just my take. maybe im just too cautious.

Sujet: The Sens Pipe Dream

I feel Dvorak for White is a negative move for MTL. While I know dvorak may not be the most prolific player offensively as of late but he is good defensively and still has solid faceoff numbers. I think running it back with dvorak is the best call and if he still underperforms you move him at the deadline with retention to get great return (Tampa style) or you move him in the offseason. Also for me white is just way to risky and inconsistent.

I think this would be a backwards move for the pens. Yes the ugrade from kapanen to miller is very damn good. But they gotta pay miller 8+ which is a lot. Marino is way better and younger than myers and has a nice deal with control so thats a complete deal breaker. And giving up a first and prospect to get this done doesn't make sense at all either. Not bad GM'ing for the canucks just think the dance partners wouldn't be interested.

wait really? I dont know Anderson has been really underwhelming for me with his time in Montreal. He has one 20 goal season (zero with the Habs) and is getting 5.5 for like 6 years. seems steep and risky for me with having skinners contract already. (Not to mention the modified NTC which likely has Buffalo on it.) Im not saying its an awful idea that will be seen as the worst trade ever but seems like a negative move to me.

This is bad. Wild get Chychrun for what a 2nd and a dude with one year on his contract? Ottawa is legit giving up a top 10 pick and a solid prospect for a ok 4th defenseman (dont rate Dumba. Dude makes way to many mistakes and boneheaded plays for what he provides). This trade isn't it.

So im not a caps fan but im gonna give a try as to why I think they decline. So for the Kuzy trade I think its an easy no. This is the case because caps are deep into win now mode. Draft picks are borderline irrelevant for them right now. Despite that they have a ok ish prospect pool. Going from Kuzy to Ryan Hartman makes no sense for a team that really wants to win now when he was a big part of the core that beat vegas for the cup. Hartman would fetch a decent price on the market due to the caphit but the value will tank because people will be like "Thats the Kaprizov effect" in regards to his quality season this year. There not wrong either. Plus the retention kills any chance at this trade for them.

Now for the Greenway trade, I think it actually makes no sense for either team. So Greenway is great for the wild with the greef line and that kinda kills the whole trade. However for the caps they have a quality top six with plenty of wingers. Mantha, oshie, ovechkin etc.... So adding greenway to play in the bottom six doesn't make a whole lotta sense when hathaway is a quality heart and soul depth guy and half the price. I dunno, the caps on reflection probably do this trade but i can understand the logic of being against it.

Sujet: Fiala Trade to HABS offseason

Im not sure Fiala is really the winger you want with Caufield and Suzuki. I feel that line has enough consistency issues. When Fiala is on he is great but too often he can just go cold kinda like Caufield did at the start of the season. I think a physical presence would be a nice fit to keep the energy up like for example Greenway or Kane (dont recommend this). Now the wild are not trading greenway its just an example. This is just my take but hey overskill sounds interesting aswell.

Im not really sure JBD is the add on to the first here. Wild have a pretty damn deep defensive pool with Lambos and O'Rourke. Peart and Hunt aswell. I just personally think a forward is more likely. Jarventie is the probable situation and Greig is the unlikely longshot. Either way value is fine here for me unless there is a crazy bidding war or something. We will have to see what happens.

Yeah this Fiala trade is just simply not it chief. I mean I feel one of their young cheap forwards has to be included aswell as the first at least. Henrique is a little old and the cap hit despite the retention is still not incredible for a guy who despite a solid year was on waivers a year ago. Not the worst Fiala trade (I have seen, this is still bad) but I feel better have to be out there from the Ottawa's and buffalo's of the league. Also gets him out of the conference so that's nice.

I feel like the wild should accept this. To be fair this is probably way to much for CBJ to give up. I mean a lottery first a very solid young winger and a center prospect/roster player with a 2nd. Hell its definitely too much as a wild fan. Also why are you giving Jan Rutta that money and term? I mean he is ok on Tampa but I feel that's just the victor hedman affect. Dunno may not be an albatross but dont really like it.
