That's a lot to give up for a guy who is very damn good but also only two seasons away from ufa. Doubt Lamoriello does this without something agreed (is that even allowed?). The Arizona trade doesn't make sense either. Why are they trading ghost for bailey and then adding more? better to keep him and flip at the deadline for a solid return. They dont need an aging winger right now in the heart of their rebuild. Overall not awful, just some minor issues with team fit and value/risk. cheers.

Not a bad offer for willy, but I feel like if the leafs were to trade him for a pick they would try to get into the top 10-5 region by adding something to the pot. But for a return of a decent player (and two I don’t know) along with a 13th pick and another 1st. That’s a decent offer that they’d have to consider. Good job
