For me i have 3:
Chicago Blackhawks - change it to a black hawk
Columbus Blue Jackets - change it to a blue jacket but make it more interesting than that, not just a simple blue jacket
Montreal Canadiens - idk why but i like the idea of just the letters 'Montreal Canadiens'.

What do you think?

1. Chicago and Montreal are classic. They'll never have significant changes, only minor tweaks. The Blackhawks is meant to be for the Indians, not an actual bird. The only way that happens is if people get so offended and think that it's offensive (which it isn't).
2. Columbus has an awesome logo IMO. Jerseys are beautiful, nothing should change with them.


The ones that should change? I think Anaheim needs to mix it up, or go with the Mighty Duck. I'd love to see the Islanders do something new, their logo just seems like there's too much going on. I think the better question is which teams need new jerseys rather than logos

I would like to see Washington ditch the letters and go to their shoulder patch as their logo. I love that patch (it's better than most logos not just talking hockey).
Columbus should probably go to something that references the Union. Or work around that mf-ing cannon. I like the alt logo with the cannon.
After Arizona got rid of that Pablo Pacasio dog they were fine. Carolina could probably use a few touch ups. The Islanders would need one because the map on their current one doesn't show where they play. I like New Jersey's but those jersey have to go in a dumpster with the islanders ones. One of my favorite logos is the North Stars. It was just a great color scheme and design.
As for Chicago and Montreal. Naw. I'm good they're classics. To be honest I can't imagine The Habs or Hawks changing logos. Ive seen the black hawks logo that people want and I personally don't care for it. Really as a whole their aren't a lot of logos to change. Its more uniforms. It's not like football where the browns logo is just a brown helmet which they might as well just use the poop emoji. The new Seahawks logo is atrocious.

yeah, i know, but it still kind of makes sense, like the blue jackets if i see their logo correctly, it's a US flag around a star.

Goodness me.... you never ever change an original 6 logo. You can modify it like the leafs have but don't get rid of the main design

the canadiens have had the same logo for about 100 years. A few modifications here and there

The CBJ logo is a stylized version of the flag of Ohio, in the form of a "C" wrapped around a star, representing both patriotism and Columbus' status as state capital.

I know Detroit is an original 6 team, but I hate the look of their logo.

Ottawa definitely. Their logo is just so bad and cartoony. Arizona too.

Montreal and Chicago's logos are iconic and good logos, there is no way they will be changed. And there is nothing wrong with CBJ's logo.

BTW, Chicago's logo and name is actually from Black Hawk the aboriginal general who fought in the war of 1812. The team was named after their first owner's army division (The Black Hawk Division) which was named after the man, Black Hawk. And in Montreal's logo the H stands for Hockey and the C stands for Club, part of their original name, Le Club de Hockey Canadien or The Canadian Hockey Club.
