I disagree ... Pacioretty is so underrated ... MTL wool say no if you ask me ... he gets 30+ goals every year, but isn't seen as a star player really.
I didn't say Pacioretty isn't good, he is a very impressive forward, but all he would do in Philly is hold back guys Konecny. Philly has strong offense and weak defense, why would they try to improve what is already acceptable at the expense of what already needs help?
Sure, Philly's defence now isn't great, but look, they have Morin and Myers, and then Hang was well as prospects ... they only really have that one hole (a #4) on defence.

Still Pacioretty is not necessary, if your going to trade Sanheim trade him for a goaltending upgrade over Elliott and Neuvirth.

If that's the case, literally any scenario can become a trade rumor, because anyone can make up any combination of trade pieces and claim that they "hear rumblings".
