Sorry Flames aren't going to trade Markstrom to move up 3 spots and take on 2 contracts. The Markstrom trade needs to be in a big trade, for whoever the other team is, 3 or 4 assets moving each way, to make both teams happy.

Calgary won't be taking on Hamonic or Korpisalo but even if you take them out, Markstrom has way more value than just moving up 2 spots in the draft.

ROTFL, this trade has Ottawa paying nothing for Markstrom. Moving up 2 spots at the draft wouldn't even be close to paying for taking on two cap dumps in Korpisalo and Hamonic!
