Why would the Ducks move Vatrano for this when they could get him for a package that benefits them. And Killorn was brought in to Anaheim for a specific purpose, not just a sign and do whatever. He’s filling his role and the Ducks have no interest moving him

The first part yes I agree. But I find it funny when people say a team is immediately on a players NTC and we have zero proof whether that’s true or not. Like with Gibson we KNOW that Canadian teams are on his NTC because he declined a trade to Toronto.

Honda Center and Crypto.com arena are only 30 miles apart, Trouba's wife could very easily set up her practice here. LA/OC is a very desirable place to live. It's not like we're some backwater metro area.

It's long been known that a far higher percentage of NTC lists have all Canadian teams in it. No one has ever given a number but enough agents have gone on podcasts for this to be common knowledge, also common knowledge, Anaheim is barely ever, if ever listed.

Pick #30 has little fascination for us when we already own pick #31/#32.

I don't think that the Rangers should be giving away first-round draft picks when the rest of their dance card has so many holes, but I would entertain the thought of Vatrano alone for the 2025 first and Trouba.

But that's 7 teams which means there are 8 American teams. High tax west coast California that's had a mass exodus the last almost decade means it's more than possible especially when the team SUCKS
