They certainly could. But Bussi and DiPietro can push each other, both are no longer waiver exempt, same age as Swayman, nothing left to prove at AHL. They will not re-sign Keyser as there is no room for him. Bringing in another goalie to an already crowded net likely mean one of Bussi/DiPietro gets moved if not claimed.
My assumption is DiPietro won’t get claimed. He signed a contract that pays him more money in Providence, so I believe he knows where he is at in the pecking order. With the current roster, my assumption is Bussi is carried as a 3rd goalie. The open question is whether the Bruins just go with Bussi if he is traded.

Very hard to see Boston moving Ullmark before (a) Swayman extension is done and (2) before July 1, 2025.
In this case, it is used to create a window to sign DeBrusk before free agency which is more my hope. Also with Jersey’s current history of teams “reneging on deals”, it seems like something they would likely get done sooner. I also think if Boston gets a 2024 first rounder offer, they take it over this deal.
Swayman’s leverage is unimpacted by whether Ullmark is on the team or not.

Realistic and good team. Lindholm at 8.25M just does not seem worth it to me. He may very well get that much money, but I wouldn’t go that high for a 2C at best who is probably past his prime.
The guy I saw matching up with Draisaitl wasn’t past his prime. Frankly. It made me see that this years struggles probably had more to do with family uncertainty than skill level deterioration.
