Description

Stephenson will come in less than E. Lindholm and on a shorter term. Stephenson has electric speed and plays a solid 2way game. Hes not a number one center but will help the depth down the middle of the ice.
Ullmark for Chychrun would be a solid hockey trade for both teams.
Acquiring Necas won't be easy but offered the Bruins best two prospects, Merkulov looks NHL ready and a future 2nd round draft pick. Bruins want to add speed and skill and can do so with something like this.

Don't think that's enough for Necas.

Probably starts with Lysell and a 1st. I could see a 2nd if there was an impact roster player like Frederic or Geekie.

I think there's probably more to the sens bos trade, if sweeney is trading in the division he's going to want that team to overpay. I also don't know if we'd target chychrun anymore with the way lorhei has shown he can play. given sweeney/neely saying we need to score more and be faster i'm not sure the 4th line is something that we see. like both the players individually but marron and brazeau aren't playing with any sort of pace.

I don't like the stephenson signing myself either for #1 C, i guess it's really lindholm or trade for that spot. Stephenson would be a great 2C but we have Coyle/Zacha that can fill that spot.

Coyle is a third line center. Stephenson is a second line center. Fourth line wingers are the slowest duo in the league. Heinen and Boqvist would be much better options. Defense looks phenomenal even though I am not the biggest fan of Chychrun and think he's generally overrated.

The thing I like about Chychrun is as a D he's really offensive minded, and we need offense, so if we're getting a roster player from Ottawa i'd want either him or Batherson. I don't think D need to be a priority, but I think he'd work out in Boston. Only problem is we'd have to sign him and Lohrei next year

I agree the Bruins need more shots from the point. Lohrei made a huge difference in the top four and starting tilting the ice. I would still prefer Batherson (if that is even possible) because I don't like the idea of resigning Chychrun at $6m per year after the season.

I think he would fit great. Underlying stats look great, played 19 mins/g on a strong canucks team and played a team leading 2:40 per game shorthanded. I agree he's older and defensive minded, but I think that's what you target to free up Lindholm to play a more offensive focused game and not have to kill as much.
