Wild decline and say no! They aren’t trading a Top C prospect and 1st round pick, a better for nothing of value in return. Sean Farrell has zero value. The picks doesn’t get you wild 1st round pick nor do wild add a top C prospect just signed to ELC

Yeah I don’t think the Blues would have interest there. They’re trying to move up not down

I just don’t see Barron as the top end RHD the Blues are looking for. He may end up as a decent second pair guy but the Blues need someone who can play the top

I can't see St. Louis having any interest in Ylonen or Barron. Dvorsky, Dean and Stenberg area all better prospects than Ylonen and the unsigned Snuggerud is miles better, and the Blues don't need to spend assets to acquire a third-pairing RD.

He'll be close but we have better ranked suitor for the job. He's great and even learns more about d-zone this season (mostly in AHL due to the numerous prospects in our system)

he's becoming a better 2way guy and can surprise to be a 2nd pair d-men but we are overcrowded at the moment with the contract situation. The 10 spot jump seems fair tho no?

Noo. Minnesota isn't moving. The literally has never moved down once in Bill Guerin's tenure with Judd Brackett as the Lead Scout Guy & Assistant

But you're not Guerin and normally we want to build a fair AGM. Is it fair at least?

The difference is the value of a pick in the 33 - 38 range. Ylonen and the third have negligible value towards that, and I doubt that Barron has that value to St. Louis by himself. With Krug and Leddy aging out soon, I'd offer them one of your LDs.

Harris can be offered would it be a possibility rather than Barron?

Harris, the Winnipeg first and the Colorado second is an offer that has a much better chance of being accepted than the one in this ACGM.

I am not Guerin , but it's a factually correct to tell you Guerin will not move down. Wild are seeking to move up. It's also a fact to tell you Guerin with Judd Brackett as his sidekick has always moved up or sought to move up in each draft or stay where they are. So, with all due respect, Wild aren't moving down. If anything, they are seeking to move up, your original AGM wasn't fair at all. You have wild moving down and giving up one of their top Center prospects for nothing in return.

Why in the world would the Blues make that trade?

That's two fringe players, albeit young fringe players and a 3rd to move down numerous spots. We don't have an issue filling out the lineup with bottom half of the lineup guys. We need a 2C and ideally a 1LD to push guys down into the roles they need to be playing in.

We have Parayko and Faulk signed 3 more years. Barron isn't better than either of them and most likely will never be. His highest probable outcome is being similar to Faulk that in of being an inconsistent defender who can defend but a player that can put up points. If you think Montreal is overcrowded, you are barking up the wrong tree.
