Just offer to trade Laine + KJ/Chinakov + Boqvist/Bean/D prospect for Marner. If Marner gets traded, it's probably after July 1st.



Demidov is more of the same, you get a finished product with Marner. If you guys are going with a winger then Tij Iginla since he brings a different skill set than the wingers you guys have.

Lindstrom could fill a need for future 2C, so makes sense. You guys do have Jiricek, but you can always move one if you have to so adding Levshunov would be a good idea to ensure that you at end up with a 1RHD. I think you guys should look at Silayev as well instead of Demidov, especially since Werenski gets hurt a lot. I think he'll be the next Z Chara with a bit more offensive upside since he can skate well.

Nobody is gonna offer a single asset like 4 overall for marner. Do not do it

Move kj, laine and a defender prospect like knazko for him.
They HAVE to take back one of Laine or gaudreau and Laine is more appealing based on term remaining and cap hit.
Kj at his prime might be marner. Plus with his slump, if a trade comes up like this take the known quantity. Draft a center or defender to add to the rebuild and keep going.
