CHI has no business buying Bahl, especially at that price. However, CHI might have interest in Holtz for a 4th, but I doubt NJD sells so low on him. I don't hate the VGK proposal, but I doubt VGK is willing to take their foot off the gas. They are just gonna keep rolling as long as they can, at which point they will just find a way to quickly buy or manipulate themselves into being a contender again.

Devils can probably get a 3rd for Bahl. But it won't be from the Hawks. They don't have a need for more LD.

I can see Theodore maybe because of cap reasons but Thompson is too good a value.

Bahl is an interesting one. He certainly has value, but it feels like every team has a Kevin Bahl. A 23 year old ish 3rd pairing dman with some upside. I expect him to just be kept as a 7D for us next year
