I love the idea of using Barron to move Anderson, but Anderson has a NMC, and I’m pretty sure he’s not waiving it to go to the worst team in the league.

I think he's waiving it to leave Montreal ASAP. It's not working out and his career is on the line.

    1. I dig the sentiment. Replace all D. At least the main NHL group from this year. Its a reaction. I don't think it's an overreaction.
    2. I think you absolutely need to keep 2 D spots available for the prospects to cycle in. Mukhamadullin should absolutely be in the NHL most of next year. Emberson and Thompson should see time as well.
    3. I like most of the UFA signings. People argued with me about OEL wanting term. But 1 year to show and go to a contender at the TDL is a good option for a guy wanting silverware. Not feeling 6 years of Matt Roy. But my feels have betrayed me before.
    4. Musty is a tough one. I don't think he's NHL ready, but probably doesn't have much he can learn in juniors except discipline, which he needs. Three teenage forwards would cause way Baby Shark references. I think he goes back and guys like Bystedt, Cardwell and Graf get some big league shifts with the last forward spot.

Maybe. But I would be surprised if he waives to go to SJ with 3 year left on his contract. He would want to be flippable to a contender in the event that he turns things around, and teams just don't want 3 year rentals.

I dont think those two have equal value. But like they said, sharks are probably gonna run Thrun Emberson and Muk in the line up and we are crowded on the blue line. What does anderson play like? Is he a mike Hoffman clone?

Canes pass. He's 7 years younger, but he's also MUCH, MUCH worse than Orlov.

Nha not at all, he's a big body brother but not a finisher. He's doing good space and can also back up to break a play. He's just on the downside.

It's not like the Habs are a playoff team...
Anderson needs a change of scenery.
