NSH declines

Jackets pass. Werenski is their only star player earning his contract these days. They'd need a star center in return if he were to be moved, not another winger. Especially not one that only has 1 year left on his contract who likely won't re-sign and even if he does will cost $11M+. Dedicating nearly $30M to 3 wingers is not a recipe for success.

I agree its not worth it for Nsh as it is...but question is..what changes would you be looking for to make that work?

what about treplacing him (as the main piece) with Provorov and adding a pick or player (depth)

Another foolish trade Marner would never waive to. Trade him to a playoff team at least
