I'd rather have Kevin Fiala than need to split playing time at center between Anze Kopitar, Phillip Danault and Andrew Cirelli, and we can't afford Cirelli anyway since Rob Blake can no more buy out DuBois than he can trade him at a painful loss.

Teams that have no cap space can't afford to throw Offer Sheets around.

I like the idea of CHI acquiring Turcotte, maybe the change of scenery and playing in his home town helps, but I doubt they are willing to pay that much. It is looking more and more likely that he is a career AHLer.
