Mailloux is closer to NHL than Musty.
While Musty seems to have a promising career, he is currently in the OHL, and while he's got 102 pts in 53 games, you never know what will happen when they go into the AHL or NHL. Many players hit 100 pts in their OHL, QMJHL, WHL, NCAA, etc leagues but aren't able to bring that to the NHL. Some players are just dominant in the junior leagues, but suddenly get phased when they start getting hit by men their size and able to hit hard.
Musty may become a dominant player, may not, we'll only see his future when he plays at that level. I'm not saying Mailloux is a overprice or underprice, I'm just saying that until someone see Musty play in the higher leagues, there is no definite way of knowing how he'll do. I'd keep Mailloux for his size and skills, and we all see what happens when your blueline isn't up to par with the other teams in the NHL come series time. Mailloux will probably be on the second line of defense and was basically a steal at draft because of his situation at that time. He would've gone way earlier in the draft had it not been.
