Rangers don't need centers, they need help at RW, so they are not trading a RW for a C.

They could run Zib - Chytil - Lucius - Goodrow and move Trocheck to 1RW and Othmann to 3RW. Not a bad idea. Kakko isn't producing and this trade can help boost depth scoring.

They could but I wouldn't. Troch is too good at C between Panarin and Laffy and Kakko has become a good 200 foot player and his worth his cap hit and still has room to grow. Could care less where he was drafted.

Understand it both ways to be fair, I would go the other way but a good problem to have.
