I understand that and agree. but this is a much better set up team. Sometimes you take a step back to move forward and this might be what Ottawa has to do to strengthen the team overall.
I do feel Korpisalo rebounds next year if you guys can get a new coach and set up a better defensive scheme.

Logging in to tell you that that is simply not the case. Korpi and Forsy have been so bad that they have legitimately cost the Sens a shot at the playoffs. Had they had a league average of .900%, Ottawa would be where Detroit and Washington are... and that is after the defensive implementations JM and CO. have instituted. 21 out of the 76 games Ottawa has played, they have let in the first or second shot on goal... that is awful.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt early when DJ Smith was still apart of the team. But, after the entire team (OFF and DEF) increased their advanced defensive stats, the goalies took the biggest step back in terms of play that made me lose my mind...

The team may be better set up for the future but you can accomplish that goal without having every team rob you blind.

Been there! Jones last few years in SJ drove me nuts and I feel with a better goalie we would have had a chance at the cup in 18/19! Instead of getting tossed in the WCF.
But goaltending is Vodoo one year you get all world and the next they guy fails to break 900% it’s the most frustrating position in sports
