Lmao it isn't based around Atkinson, it's based around the picks, recouping basically what you gave ARI, plus a prospect and a vet half retained. Your locker room clearly couldn't prevent an EPIC collapse and another veteran who even Torts trusts, may not be a bad thing for the top for one year. At what point do we stop calling players prospects. He’s a 2018 draft pick in their D+6 season who can still barely get into the lineup. I’d hardly say it’s fair to call him a prospect. Atkinson is okay if there is money retained but I’d hardly say that’s a get for the team if he waives his trade protection.

Have to agree with the others who mentioned Konecny to Ottawa would make considerably more sense as a base, especially with the history he has in Ottawa.

I’d imagine both players would be eager to sign extensions in their new cities if they were swapped.

I can accept that, I think anyone would. TK's status is a little up in the air right now, but there probably wouldn't be much draft pick compensation added if TK was the main piece in a deal.

So would be OK with a 1 for 1 swap, Chych for TK? Would be a homecoming for TK and gets to play with G again, not too bad for him/

And for those wondering if they can "fix" Anderson, he's completely checked out. I wouldn't even qualify him as an NHLer at this point. He's stopped hitting, has become a turnover machine, can't even shoot anymore, and weighs down his teammates... As someone who's defended Anderson for years on here, it's truly upsetting seeing how he plays now. Pathetic...
