Schenn makes around $1,000,000 more then DeAngelo and would be worth it to pair with a younger defense partner like he did with Quinn Hughes

Morrow's about to sign his ELC. That was reported by Friedman at the weekend. DeAngelo's been a scratch anyway, Schenn is a cap dump, he's 34, and he's not good. It makes more sense to go into the free agent market, or re-sign one of the guys already here than it does to lose Honka, Suzuki and Lemieux for a cap dump.

Schenn is cheaper then the going UFA rate for bottom pair RHD which is going any where from $2,500,000 - $5,100,000 cap hits

Anaheim would ask for Joakim Kemell, your 2025 first and your 2025 second for Trevor Zegras, IF Zegras were on the market (which he's not) and ONLY if Anaheim were to land Celebrini or Levshunov in the draft.

If you want a trade comparable for Zegras, look at the Mittlestadt and Gauthier trades, basis of the trade is a single blue chip asset, not a grab bag of darts to throw at the draft.

I agree ANA would be asking for something in that ballpark. It's too much, and NSH should decline, but yeah that's probably the ask.
