Well, the value is there for Boldy, but still-Minny has no reason to do a trade that sets them back 2 years.
You would have to include either Dach/Newhook etc...and then maybe take out Beck.

I know this, but I just want to know that why so many Habs fans maked somes mock trades for Boldy yesterday. What happened to him with Minny?

I appreciate that you're actually putting together a serious offer, but MN still says no. There's no reason to do it - he's a great player, young and has term.

My best guess would be that it take both Guhle and the MTL 2024 1st, and probably more still.

I don't see a package that works for both.

your best guess would be wrong then, wouldnt move ghule straight up for boldy, for the same reason you wouldnt move boldy in this deal(even though its a heafty over pay) Every fan is biased towards the players they watch 82 times a year compared to one they see a handful of times at most. Ghule is already our best defensive dman and will be on our top pairing for a very long time. Boldy is off to a great start for his career no doubt but thats not a deal mtl would do either.

what I saw was a sarcastic sounding tweet calling boldy a problem in Minnesota and people ignored the sarcasm

I like Boldy, don't think I would even give up 6th overall for him though, especially if Demidov is still on the board.

Adding a B+ prospect, another 1st AND a top 4 dman is just delulu land

Brother I said that's what it would take for MN. And then I further stated that the package wouldn't work for both sides (i.e. MTL declines).

I don't really care what MTL would or wouldn't do, I'm saying what it would take for MN. But thanks for yelling into the void about Guhle.

Is this a package you'd trade for Caufield?

If so, fair price... If not, unfair price

Ok, well now you're undervaluing Guhle...

No I'm not, I'm telling you what I think it would take for MN to move Boldy - an overpay.

I think incredibly highly of Guhle that's why I put his name there. Idk why so many people struggle to grasp that MN doesn't have to ask for fair value.
