lol! That's just as ridiculous as thinking Chicago will give up a 3rd for those 2 players.

Well, i like getting rid of Petry and Fabbri, but can understand why everyone bags on Maatta. He has good +/_ rating and is not the problem with this team. !st thing they need to do is get rid of Holl, 2nd get out from Petry also. This would make room for Evidsson, and a #2 RHD. Maatta can play 3rd line minutes with Chiarot.

Petry likely isn't waiving for Chicago or anywhere else, so the only option to get rid of him is probably a buyout. And no chance the Hawks are paying anything for Fabbri. So that deal is an easy pass for the Hawks.

Since everybody else has already addressed how unrealistic the trades are...

Not sure how Seider gets 8 x 8 but Raymond gets 7 x 4... Not that Yzerman would ever sign Raymond to a contract that takes him immediately to UFA.

Not really, Puckpedia’s salary cap relief calculator estimates the cost of moving $6,343,750 of salary (Fabbri = $4m, Petry = $2.344m) at the 28th pick in the 1st round. So while Detroit’s 1st round pick being in the 15 - 20 range may be a little high, a 2nd and 3rd round pick would be a reasonable ask for the Hawks.

So a 2nd.

I get Petry but Fabbri would easily make your team better a 2nd is still pretty ridiculous.

Compare that to the trades made at the TDL and you will see that puckipedia just like the estimates from users on this site are WAY OFF! Just like the draft pick value chart it doesn't and can't account for all the factors that go in to a decision like that. It's funny that people put any stock into charts like that because NHL team certainly don't and if you look at actual trade that is quite clear.

Right, so ignore the sites that actually put in the work and instead listen to a bunch of hot air bags on CF.

And by "Put in the work" you mean plug numbers into a computer that spits out gibberish.

Yup, unlike the majority of people on this site who just by-pass putting in the numbers.

When your numbers buck the trend of actual trades happening, I'll take the analysis of people over computer gibberish.

Good try, though.
