Should be a lot of options out there, probably more complicated than a 1 for 1 swap. As long as we fill the need with somebody I’ll be happy

Schneider was a top 2 goalie in hockey for 3 years or so after the trade. Team just was old and falling apart around him at that time. I would kill to trade our pick for that version of Schneider right now.

You'd be far better offer making a play for Leddy, who definitely ain't gonna cost you a 24 1st. He was brutal last season, but has really come to play this season. I have to hand it to him, he's largely been decent. Much more plugged in and physical this season.

Schneider wasn’t bad…just bad timing as team declined after losing Parise and Kovalchuk. And once we started to improve, he started declining.

Was more so throwing names out there than any particular interest in Krug.

Well, if Leddy's wheels and experience are attractive, and you don't feel like spending big, you could surely have him pretty cheap. Maybe Misyul or Karpovich + a 3rd, something like that.

Jersey won tonight and went from 66 to 68 points, passing Calgary for the time being. We'll see if Calgary beats Vegas but even if Vegas win in OT Jersey will still be ahead

Calgary has a better points% as of right now and Calgary is currently winning. NJD could maybe go on a run (Kahkonen and Allen both looked great in their games), but with the current injuries and state of the defensive core, and specifically Jack's lingering injury, I don't have any expectations for this year.
