Army would cancel his friendship with Yzerman.

    You're underpaying Seider.

The Blues aren’t trading a 24 year old center who’s on pace for nearly 100 points & signed for 7 more years for that junk.

You’d have to use Eichel’s trade as a baseline. Robert is signed for longer and hasn’t asked for a trade, therefore, it would have to beat the equivalent of Tuch, 1st, 2nd, Krebs at the time of the trade.

It really doesn't matter what they piece together, he's not going anywhere.

Gretzky asked out. Entirely irrelevant example.

Read over my initial post. Stated this, again purely hypothetical/fantasy.

Yeah, I got that. But we're not debating your initial post. We're debating mine. And you used Gretzky as an example to support your stance that anyone can be traded. And I said, okay, but that's not a relevant comparison because Gretz asked out. But to take it further, I think he was maybe a year from free agency when the Oil dealt him, and was definitely an impending UFA when the Rags dealt him. Thomas is signed until 2031. So again, that comp is not relevant.

Could hypothetically anyone be traded? Sure. But fantasy or not, we're discussing the hypothetical of real world situations. Thomas ain't goin' anywhere for the foreseeable future+.

Like I said anything is possible. Has he asked for a trade? Maybe, we can speak in definite because we’re not Army or Robert’s agent. Not everything gets publicly leaked nor is everything these insiders say true.

No player is untouchable is my point. The point is to talk about hypothetical value which is why I used Eichel as a baseline and said add because those factors. It also helps when folks use the description field to help rationalize their ACGMs but not all are created equal.
