JFC, one podcaster makes a claim that Mitts is available (a claim he walked back) then the actual Buffalo GM says he isn't and they want to re-sign him so the logical move is to...continue to propose an endless string of trades for Mitts (whom the Avs CANNOT afford to re-sign) to the Avs.

There's a bit of that going around, too, but I've seen lots of Byram for Mitts swaps and it doesn't make sense for either team even when the value is right
