Since Jan 1st the Sabres have really been a different team. We used to give up- just nonsense. Odd man rush after odd man rush, disastrous clearing attempts, standing next to guys that would score goals... the Sabres have cleaned up a lot of that, upl doesn't have to make all high danger saves, and he looks much better. Of course the Sabres need to score off the rush, and this new attention to detail has shined a light on offensive problems, like we don't have enough forwards that go to the net, so we lose games where we have 45 shots because the other goalie is busy, but never challenged.
