Then look elsewhere. Montour ,Roy,demelo all good ufas for us we can afford. Upl and Levi will be ready next season for us. We're not in cap trouble.

Montour played in Buffalo for a couple of years and it didn't work out. Remember? He's also going to get paid based on his flash in the pan year last season. Roy is a much better fit and a much better shut down defenceman

I'll be happy with either. Yes last year anomaly but this year will make him a 6.75 million dollar player but him or Roy improves our back end.
Just because it didn't work out then doesn't mean it won't now and his close family and fanbase will help fill our empty arena.
