He’s developed into our starter, so he’s pretty much untouchable. I couldn’t see us moving him

Girgs could be had for a draft pick possibly
We’d likely ask for a 2nd, might settle for a 3rd, not sure

Newhook is probably worth what we paid for him last summer (31 and 37th overall pick).

Matheson is still useful to MTL, but could be available soon. I would think his value is higher than Newhook.

Primeau isn't worth much for now. MTL would rather keep him to see what he can become in a few years.

From the Sharks, assuming no retention:

Ferarro seems to be trending towards a late 1st or a 2nd + something else.
Granlund probably a 2nd, Kahkonnen probably also a 2nd, maybe a 3rd would get it done.

AZ would only trade those guy for overpays of top pair or top 6C not for futures they have more than enough

Agree with AntiAnalytics regarding mittelstadt and upl, girgensons I would think would be mid round pick, it might go up to a 3rd if retention is needed or if there's any kind of bidding situation, but I can't see anybody doing a late second for girgensons.

UPLs not for sale, Girgensons is free, Mitts needs to return a top 4 shutdown dman

The return for Durzi and Ingram is nothing. You can't have them. They're both key parts of the rebuild, and I can honestly see Durzi being a future captain of the team

Agreed, UPL has finally arrived and he isn't going anywhere.

I'm still on the fence about Mittelstadt being traded or not...until his signature is on a long term contract I'll take the wait and see stance. If he goes to arbitration I think he's a goner and I see him being treated like Reinhart...string him along until you pretty much can't any longer.

The rest of the soon to be UFA's, get what you can and bring some of the kids up to get the NHL experience.

Of course, if we can’t agree to a contract then things can change…. but that wouldn’t be till this summer at the earliest
