Agreed w Chychrun trade…only way I’d trade him is for Snuggerud type prospect/young player. That’d be one hell of a get for Sens imo.

Have you guys considered that Giroux would be better served on a contending team? His cap hit would be tough for other teams to take on, but he could net significant assets for Ottawa at the deadline.

Don't think the Blues would entertain that. Those types of prospects don't get traded unless they refuse to sign. Especially by teams who aren't in a competing window.

Moving Snuggy for Chychrun is not something the blues would do.

I know you said anywhere Hamonic would waive as a destination, from a Jets perspective if he was a pending UFA I could see a trade but not with a year left. I don't think the Jets would pick him up, as they would be stuck with his NHL salary for another year due to his NMC (no waivers, no minors).

Tarasenko is UFA and needs to return something. He's still good but maybe what the Sens need exactly. The other guy traded here is Chychrun, while a good player as well, doesn't fit with the team that much and is not the exact need they have on defense. They need another guy more on the Zub mold and to balance the LHD/RHD situation more
