A 3rd and 5th for Myers?

Why are you selling?

Boeser: Whatever people think, even elite players don't get traded away for 3x1st. The receipe is more or less always the same: a (usually low) 1st, a prospect, a replacement NHLer. Obviously would be a A level prospect. Throw in lower picks and prospects as you wish, but nothing significatively valuable.

Kuzmenko: shows he can't play in a defensive system. Quick comparable: Smith got a 3rd but Vegas was stuck preseason. A 2nd + a body.

Mikheyev: Can't stay healthy. My quick comparable would be Buchnevich. 2nd + bottom 6 replacement.

Myers: See Zadorov. 3rd.

Desmith : Not much for a future UFA back up. 4th or AHL player.

NOT IMPORTANT TEAM #4 offers a 5th round pick

I've always like Boeser, but with his play this season he's going to cost way to much. Everything points to this being a career year for Boeser and not something he'll sustain in future seasons. He's nearly a $6.7 million hit and you'd have him roughly 1.5 seasons. I'd say something similar to what VAN got for Horvat would be fair. 1st + Prospect + NHLer

1. A 1st +A Prospect & another high pick or good roster player

2. 1st + Roster-player or 1st + B prospect

3. 2nd + B prospect

4. N/A but with 50% retention a 4th or 3rd at best

5. 4th rounder but desperation & teams with pick surplus could cause a late 3rd (basically same thing i think for Jones)

I think a contender who needs him would pay a third for Myers, especially if it fills in your dance card for 2025 or 2026.

Boeser-Very tough to value. Any offer enough for his production this year isn't worth this risk, any offer based around his previous production isn't even close
Kuzmenko-Somewhere between a 3rd and FC
Mikheyev-FC or a late pick
Myers: FC
Desmith retained: 2nd or 3rd

Consensus is we need to sell 1 at the deadline (almost certainly Kuzmenko) to fund an 'all-in' move.

There's a lower than 1% chance we trade more than 1 of these players before the deadline. But I really wanted to get an idea of what value other team's fans place on these players to settle some debates within the Canucks community.

Interesting, I actually don't think Kuzmenko brings in close to a 1st+.

I think his last season gives a-lot of promise to most contenders which will make then pony up a 1st + imo
