Don't think the Hawks are looking to move Kurashev and would need to be compelled to consider it as he has looked pretty good this season. At a minimum, Bains would be of more interest than Sasson.
My counteroffer would be Kurashev, Isaak Phillips, Collin Blackwell (50% retained) & LA Kings '24 2nd for Bruzstewicz, Bains, & Vancouver's 24 1st. Phillips is a prospect that simply gets overwhelmed by the Hawks depth of choices at LHD with the Canucks pretty thin on that side. Blackwell retained is a cheap depth piece that is likely a better option than some of the kids playing in the bottom of the lineup currently. Moving up 19 (currently) spots in the draft is probably the type of compelling thing that would get the Hawks actually considering moving Kurashev. The prospects orginally proposed (or even subbing Bains) have pretty long odds to ever be even as much as Kurashev is presently.
