That's a little rich guess it's a sellers market. Jets will likely look elsewhere for a cheaper player that can do a similar job as a henrique, Monahan, Lindholm. Seattle may have wennberg available who would be cheaper and fits the bill.

Most likely because other players that are similar are overvalued as well (Lindholm, Monahan, etc) if Monahan is getting valued at a 1st henrique ain't far off that in my eyes. Guess a sellers market this year driving up the cost of players that really aren't worth the cost.

Lucius?

Lucius is out for the year again now with an ankle injury. He definitely doesn't have much value anymore and jets likely hold him to see if he stays healthy. Teams don't typically trade for injured prospects let alone injured for the rest of the season

i think the fact the henrique has like, "Locker room presence" and stuff will pump his trade value. he's also better than wennberg and monahan and the like.

Jets can't do a 2024 2nd as mtl pick is more valuable than a contenders 2nd (mtl 2nd will be top 40) jets would probably do 2024 3rd and a prospect like torgersson.

Jets would ideally trade 2024 3rd, Stanley and or axel Jonsson-fjällby and maybe a long shot prospect like Blaisdell

Frankly, Torggensson barely seems like a C prospect, looks to be flaming out at the AHL level and has bottom 6 upside, so if that's the prospect offered, it'll take MTLs 2nd.

If you're only offering a third, it'll take a much better prospect.

Henrique seems too expensive then if the same package of a 3rd stanley and torgersson gets wennberg. Pretty similar players so not worth giving up more for a marginal difference

You don’t see MTL fans laughing with Monahan, he’s been real solid. People want a 1st + but because of his injuries I think it’s a stretch a 1st. But MTL 2nd round pick (40 range) is definitely worth it for WPG

At most I'd give a 2025 2nd and a 2024 3rd for Henrique 50% retained, wouldn't trade the Habs 2nd for him.

Again I'd be going after Granlund, think he'd click really well with Ehlers.

I'd also be calling Armstrong about Sundqvist.

Granlund just doesn't work man. If he doesn't fit we have a major issue of him not being a fit similar to what happened in Pittsburgh. Rather just play it safe with wennberg and if he fits we can resign him. We also don't need that offensive of a center next year as perfetti should take another step forward
