Except exactly no Blues fans have said anything even remotely like that. They all say they're not trading Parayko, which is a very different thing. They also say a bunch of draft picks would not be the ask if he was available. Why even make this up?

NO thanks to both if you're PHI, way too much to give up on a team that is rebuilding.

I think I'd be willing to give up one of Foerster or Brink to get Zegras, not both though

Blues decline. Parayko is one of the few players that we won't trade.

Do you really think that's a fair price for a #1 centerman? For example, do you think that the Montreal Canadiens would give you Nick Suzuki for that package? (Compare their 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons (Zegras' first and second and Suzuki's third and fourth) -- they were essentially identical.)

More like he's not available for a trade. We have no interest in moving him. Most of us are fine with him and his contract on our team.

He is definitely available rumours came out that he was and it makes sense get some major assets and not have to buy him out on the last year of his deal lol it seems like a no brainer

I'd rather add more picks, I don't think trading both Brink and Foerster is a good idea. And trading for Parayko doesn't make sense.

None of our local guys reported on him being available. National guys like Pagnotta who has a very spotty history have speculated whether or not he could be available but nothing from the organization has shown that he would be available.

Comparing Zegs to Suzuki is pure insanity. Zegras isn’t a number 1 center, he’s completely inept defensively. If he stays in Anaheim he’ll ultimately become a winger with Carlsson and Mctavish being their 1-2 punch.

Zegras produced 60 points when there was no pressure on him on a bad team with a smaller market, now that the team got a bit better up front he was on pace for 30 points. This package is an overpayment

I'm confident that "on pace for 30 points" has to be the most ignorant comment you'll make this month, and there are still 9 days left in it. Apparently, you're unaware that he was only injury-free for 5 games this season.

He has 7 points in 20 games. You’re right, maybe I was ignorant. He was actually on pace for 28 points. My bad.

Doubling down on ignorance, eh?

He had 4 points in his 5 injury-free games, so he was on pace for 64 points.

I like to look at the whole sample size, not 5 games. If you want to use the excuse that he was injured for his genuine lack of production then go for it. But everyone knows the real reason

I get why Anaheim fans take issue with a lot of Zegras packages on here, but this should be a slam-dunk no questions asked "yes" from the Ducks. Both of these guys have been excellent in their rookie season, with Foerster in particular having immense upside and playing a style that would thrive on what the Ducks are trying to build (very strong defensively, big and great on the forecheck/cycle, borderline elite shot etc). Not to mention getting a 1st rounder out of the whole ordeal.

And even though I like Zegras a ton, Suzuki is the better player right now
