I find it interesting that Leaf’s fans all of a sudden tend to completely blame Dubas for recent shortcomings, rather than blaming Sheldon Qweefe’s inability to coach and the core five’s (Justin Bieber is 5) tendency to shy away from big boy hockey when it matters most. I will say that the latter has improved, but nonetheless, I think you all should move on from scapegoating your old GM, who was fine. It’s a bit of a loser’s mentality, man. Why not just use a bottom pair defenseman as your scapegoat like Toronto usually does? Dubas has been fine here, and there isn’t really much he can do wrong that would be worse than employing Ron Hextall anyways.

Getting durzi for that price is a steal, leafs decline jarnkrok and kampf aren’t going anywhere we gave them MNTC for a reason and I’m sure the NYI aren’t shopping engvall and even if they were they’d want more then a 3rd lol

trade 1: for the two leafs the MNTC makes no difference considering that you are trading them to pit which they obviously wouldn't refuse. secondly pens would much rather keep acciari then do that trade.

trade 2: durzi is great but kerfoot is a cap dump, so you should lower the price. maybe drop the 2nd round pick.

trade 3: a meh bottom six player making 3mil per year with MNTC... you pay to get rid of those player normally.

how is kerfoot a cap dump? 3.5m for guy plays all over, PK, and has 26pts. BTW AZ easily declines that, no way trading durzi for futures and the GM/coaches love kerfoot.
