That offer doesn't get Zegras. You want him, offer Reinhacher and next year's 2nd.

We would only be looking for a top-line RW or top-pairing RhD and a 2024 first-round draft pick in exchange for Trevor Zegras if he were truly on the market, so you're going to offer us (1) an undersized left-handed forward prospect who ostensibly plays his off side, (2) a C/LW prospect no better than Nathan Gaucher, (3) a LhD to fight for a spot amongst Cam Fowler, Pavel Mintyukov, Jackson LaCombe and Olen Zellweger, and (4) a future first which might be later than pick 16.

Now seriously, would you trade Juraj Slavkovsky for that garbage?

Before you answer, in his first 81 games, Slavkovsky has recorded 25 points. In his first 99 games, Zegras scored three times that many.

      How about Mailloux and a 2nd + B prospect?

Don’t think the Habs are willing to trade Reinbacher, specially when they pass over Michkov and refuse Cutter Gauthier for it.

I just think he’s more ready. Been selected for the AHL All-Star in his first year pro. I would give Reinbacher one full year in the AHL next year and then promote him to NHL.

But if I listen to those salty Ducks fan I should give Reinbacher, slafkovsky and my next 13 first round pick for Zegras lol

No cap they think Zegras is the 8th world wonder. Like chill he’s good but has not scored 30 goals or 70 points yet and been injured all season.

the Michigan makes people cookoo. Look oooh look what he can do lol put some mustard on that hotdog!

I actually think the rangers go after him in the summer, only if Chytils status is up in the air. Which is possible

Sorry . . . ask any Anaheim stalwart : Habs fans and their unacceptable offers for a top-6 forward are wearing out our good nature.

How would YOU like to look at more than a dozen ACGM's each day for Slavkovsky or Cole Caufield in return for this type of package?

Very few prospects at Reinbacher's level ever get traded.
In top-25...maybe once every couple of years.
      In 26-50...a few each year
      51-100...all the time

(never hurts to ask, I suppose)

      Take it as flattery.
You've see the days when they only trades coming in where alphabetical "Any team" offers.
      Now they want your players.

Mallioux is an image problem for a California team, and he looked real flat in camp this year from reports. Yeah, he's scoring in the AHL, but we need someone with great defensive reads. It would have to be Reinhacher, or we keep Zegras. Only other player of interest is Slafkovsky, but his lack of production thus far is a major concern.

Very few prospects at Reinbacher's level ever get traded.
In top-25...maybe once every couple of years.
      In 26-50...a few each year
      51-100...all the time

(never hurts to ask, I suppose)

      Gauthier just got traded.
