"roster player, A prospect and a first like Horvat"
Horvat also made ~$2M more and was a UFA that needed to be moved. I'm not saying Boone's the same player, although they both win ~55% of faceoffs and score goals like it's their only other job (Horvat = 0.32 gpg career, Jenner = 0.27 gpg). But Jenner is cheaper, has 2 more years at less than half Horvat's new contract, and his current team has no reason to move him. It's got to be a massive overpay, like Horvat's deal ++.
Kuzmenko > Beau, but the 2024 VAN 1st < 2023 NYI 1st (17th OA) and Brzustewicz < Raty. That's just not enough.
Anyone can be traded if the price is right, and this ain't it.
