Krebs is not that interesting. Maybe the balance of players needs to change, but the Habs would be a lot more interested in Kulich.

For Kovacevic and a mid ish pick maybe, Xhekaj included is too much and not being traded at this point anyway.

I find Buffalo is in a similar yet opposite position to the Habs. They already have a very good top 6 and then they have players like Kulich, Krebs, Savoie Benson, Mittelstadt who cannot break into it. Habs have a similar situation on the Blueline.

I think we are natural trade partners, but the Sabres are going to have to be ok moving high end offensive skill for well rounded defensive players. If you play Savoie & Kulich on the 4th line, they are not gonna live up to their pedigree. The Sabres have to choose the top 7 forwards they want to keep and trade the rest for a better balanced team.

Yeah, but Kulich and Savoie are their top prospects. It’s like if we traded Guhle or Hutson to clear our logjam. Personnally, Harris for Rosen makes a lot of sense

Guhle is an established NHL player. I agree it would be like trading Hutson or Reinbacher, who I think should not be untouchable.

Guhle would be like trading for JJP or Benson.

Ostland Wahlberg Rosen are all arguably equal to or greater than Savoie. Sabres are full up on LD. Harris is also too small

I've said this before, I'll say it again. Our d is too soft. If dahlin, power, and Samuelsson are our top 3, the other 3 d should not be slightly built puck movers. Adams has tried to address this on the cheap, by signing Lyubushkin and Clifton. These were half measures and both have been surpassed by jokiharju and Ryan johnson, which to me just compounds the problem. You end up with guys screening our goalie with a defenseman standing next to them, and Clifton trying to hit guys after he turns the puck over.

I would rather have signed Gudas. Clifton was probably a consolation signing

Why didn't the Sabres just keep Lybushkin, to give Clifton some term?

Yeah, the smallish puck movers really are a dime a dozen. Of course everybody wants to give us theirs, which I want no part of, dahlin and power can move the puck for us. Look at vegas- 6 big guys on d, a 4th string goalie, and one stanley cup.
