Despite how often he's injured, I wouldn't trade him for anything outside of a 1st and good prospect.

It could all be a coincidence but, Thompson and Skinner started producing as soon as he showed up (people can say it was Eichel leaving that made the change but, he was injured for a while before that and they didn't produce like they do now)
I'd want to keep the guy that might be the catalyst to my players breaking out of funks and producing well, also he's a Buffalo kid low key invalueable

I wish but that's not nearly enough for the Sabres. He'd be a great fit in Colorado but I don't think it's realistic.

Honestly, Tuch is awesome & would cost a 1st, top prospect, & roster player. Avs would be better off waiting until Kovalenko joins in March. He's a legit elite KHL player & is gonna give the Avs a huge boost for free.

There's two reasons why people are acting so strongly against your proposal:

1. Tuch is a really effing good player.
2. His value to Buffalo is more than just what he is on the ice.
3. Buffalo has no reason to move Tuch

IMO he can, ONLY if he cares about regular season results. He's overplayed Toews two out of three seasons so far & Toews has been worn down come playoffs. Last year MacK & Mikko were worn down too. It's not a winning formula.
