Liljegren is straight up better than Zadorov

I think Z is the type of defensemen we need, especially since he's sort of similar to Luke Schenn, and Schenn looked good with them in the playoffs, but some leafs fans also highly value Lily. I'm sort of in the middle but I did want Z a lot

All comes back to Dubas & his roster design. As much as Leafers don’t wanna trade Willy it’ll be a costly own rental if they let him walk.

Blaming Dubas is such a dumb and disingenuous argument. He never overpaid anyone, it was all market value and his depth signings were always below market value. Had the cap not stayed the same for years, none of the issues they had with the cap would have been an issue. It's just silly how you guys just ignore that to take shots

Schenn didn't look great until the 2nd round. Z is a 3rd pair defender. I'd have him over Mccabe but what TO really needs is an actual shutdown defender. They need a new Muzzin. Zadorov isn't that.

Blame does go on Dubas. Nothing to do with market value signings but everything to do with LOUSY goaltending WEAK D & SOFT as butter. Poor roster build. Great regular season but hardly a great PO roster.
