I get the idea behind this. Olofsson is an offensive upgrade to a team that struggles offensively. Dickinson on the other hand (aside from his hat trick the other night) isn't going to produce at the same level Olofsson does but he's a sold 2-way center and part of the leadership at the moment. Trades made in the near future aren't made to address the current lineup, they're going to be made for the team 3-5 years down the road. If the Hawks are going to trade him, it's for futures not an expiring contract.
