Not enough for Montreal to eat that contract along with getting rid of Monty

I was thinking that Montreal would have to dump a goalie and Edmonton would not want Allen, so I sent Montembeault. I figured Monahan would get the 3rd round pick. Campbell for a first and a second would entice Edmonton. Maybe add a Bourgault or Lavoie coming back from the Oilers?

Also, I want Montreal to tank for one more year to hopefully get one more dynamic forward in the draft this year, so I am OK with downgrading the quality of the roster for this year's team.

So according to your own explanation, you get the 3rd for Monahan, the 1st and 2nd for taking Campbell and you are just giving Monty away for free, how does that make any sense?! I think if we were to take Campbell we could still get the 1st and 2nd and include Allen in the deal since his cap hit is lower, term is less and they would need a goalie back to fill the hole left by Canpbell.

Are you high?! How is that terrible for Edmonton?! They get the better goalie, out of the Campbell contract and a decent depth middle 6 forward for the price of a late 1st, late 2nd and a late 3rd. It would cost at least 2 1sts just to move the Campbell contract.

Montembault is 26, makes $1M (hypothetically could be completely buried in the AHL with no cap hit so obviously not a cap dump) and was 13th in the league last year in GSAx... you are totally out to lunch. If shoes were clues you'd be walking around barefoot.

It’s a ban evasion account. He believes Campbell is a great goalie and every other goalie is worse. He calls Hart a back up goalie. I just report and move on hopefully the mods deal with him soon. If I could remember the name of his first account that got banned I would send it to the mods

i dont think you understand what the words cap dump mean obviously.

I want nothing to do with Campbell, you'll have to pay wayyy more to unload him and even then, why the hell would we trade for him, he's so ****.
