Description

So recently Capfriendly users have been trading Timmins and Lafferty to the Avs for mid round picks in a way that is 100% subjective and not in line with their market value and the team’s needs.

I've reached out to a lawyer and we do have grounds here (for anyone who has read an unrealistic post) to sue Maple Leaf fans on Capfriendly for breaching Canadian Law (This only applies if you are in Canada)

For anyone from Toronto reading this. Time to grow up and realize if you want to trade Conor Timmins and Sam Lafferty to Colorado then that would be ok but the Avs don’t really have any cap space to make a trade work. So maybe later in the season if there are any injuries.

In short, I plan to take the Toronto Maple Leafs to the cleaners, if you want to join (including getting the money we win) then drop your email below and my lawyer will reach out.

You do know it was an Avs fan who started the whole Timmins going back to the Avs right?

No idea where Lafferty originated maybe it was the same person maybe not will need to see.

Believe it was HockeyManiac or something who did Timmins back to Avs

So the lawsuit would then be the Avs suing their own fan for starting the mess profiting your Lawyer as he will just drag this out letting no one win and then the fees will reach millions

For the record, I like Timmins a lot. I just imagine he’ll get less than a 3rd given the Leafs cap situation and his waiver status.

Side note: I was totally ****posting but I am actually pretty surprised this roster is cap compliant (assuming both goalies are healthy). Neat!

Also figured was joking just had to ensure people knew we didnt start it to Avs. As usually we were flipping him to Anaheim or SJS

I kinda figure any CF contributor whose repeated clears cap for "his team" by trading players to other teams without thought to the "other teams" cap should be "served papers" as you suggested
Same with the never ending trades of players with trade restrictions to awful teams with cap.
