But they will very much be possibilities. They are clearly in a big battle for their spots. They will be potential waiver options for sure. I think both guys would get claimed also.

idk why Kapanen would be waived, are you supposing blowback from the DUI case? I think Calle Rosen would be an interesting one from the Blues. He's older than most of these guys but statistically he was probably the best d-man on the Blues last season yet they'll want to get a good look at Tucker and Perunovich this season. He might be the odd man out - depending on Krug's status - and would be worth a flyer for anyone in need of a 6/7D.
