If the Sens move Chabot next offseason I'd like to see them sign a RD short term (say Tanev 4.5Mx2) and draft Mews or another RD who will take over long term in 2026-27.

At least that return for Chabot is not terrible but Sens don't want/need Vladar. They want to keep Forsberg to give proper time to Sogaard and Merilainen to develop. With Korpisalo signed for 5 years, Sens goalie situation should be stable for a while (unless last season was a mirage but Korpi has been excellent since his hip surgery)

Some problems you have in your lineup : Greig and Kleven will 100% be there next season, and probably at some point this season (Greig from the start 99.9% likely)

Zack Ostapchuk and/or Oskar Pettersson should also be in the mix next season. Roby Jarventie, Angus Crookshank, Egor Sokolov might as well

Sens won't need depth, they just need to properly replace Tarasenko (ideally an upgrade 2-way, like Teuvo so that was a good choice for me)

I think Weegar is the much better D than Chabot despite age. Forsberg is not really an upgrade on Vladar either because Wolf will likely take over.
