Taylor Hall is the ToP 6 Left Winger next two seasons. Reichel has to basically compete his ass off to get top 6 play this year considering Athanasiou, Raddysh, TJ, Kurashev are the wingers. That or Reichel outdoes Bedard at Center accidentally and the league calls bedard a bust. Cuz Dickinson at 2C is a way to show the fans we need Macklin Celebrini bad.

Canes aren’t going to consider moving Nikishin at all.

Hawks have more than enough left handed D, so I don’t see the need for Holden. If he were a righty then I would be on board.

I think the Flyers would just match on Frost, they are one of the few teams who are not cap strapped.

Nikishin is too good of a prospect for the Canes to moves for a 2nd and TJ with one year left on his deal.

I definitely agree that it wouldn't be enough for Nikishin, but suggesting that Bedard is the price is ridiculous. Nikishin isn't worth anything near the value of Bedard.

That is pretty far fetched. No amount of competition between CHI's current roster is going to change the fact that Reichel is one of their top 6 forwards. It's the others that will have to play their asses off to surpass him. Nonetheless, there is enough competition to discourage complacency and promote a strong work ethic. The only things that might bump him "down" would be player chemistry, and if the coaching staff determines he is more effective playing less minutes. But even then, i think the workload will be balanced enough that there isn't likely to be a definitive "top 6", aside from maybe on paper.

I find it interesting you think the canes would include Nikishin for Tyler Johnson when they wouldn't include him for Meier or Karlsson.
