Description

Apparently from recent news outlets/articles, Conroy does not want any prospects or picks if trading out Lindholm and Hanifin. Does Yzerman want Lindholm and Hanifin?

Trade proposal: Lindholm and Hanifin to Detroit for Robby Fabbri, Joe Veleno and Jared McIssac.
Reasons: Detroit can load up to maximize the final years of Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider ELC by getting Lindholm (can be a 2nd line centre or scoring winger) and Hanifin (completely solidifying the top 4 defence core).
Calgary gets younger assets while still staying cap compliant. Also give Backlund the "C" for this upcoming year.

This was the same kinda of trade that was posted a couple of weeks ago.

This is pure nonsense. All of those guys wouldn't get one of Lindholm/Hanifin, let alone both.

Saddest part is one of the Wings fans on here actually said it was a bad trade for both sides....

I want to clarify. Conroy is not looking to get picks or prospects in a trade return for Lindholm and Hanifin. Of course he is trying to keep the picks Calgary has so far.

As for your source, that is extremely weak. It says they've contacted multiple sources asking if Sweeny has reached out to Calgary about Lindholm and zero could do so. It then continues to say a 3rd party teams hockey operations source said Calgary would be interested in DeBrusk. It does not say Calgary would have no interest in picks or prospects, just specifically not Boston's (which is understandable since they have almost none).

To summarize you are taking some outside sources opinion as if it's a leaked rumour. There is a reason Calgary isn't shopping anyone right now and that's because it's a buyers market

I agree you lost the toffoli trade big time but there’s a much better market for both lindholm and hanifin and the returns for them shouldn’t even be close to what toffoli returned
