I could see them doing Arvidsson, Copley, and a 2nd for Ullmark if Boston retained $750k on Ullmark to make he and Arvidsson an even swap.

I've said Turcotte and maybe a 3rd for Ullmark with some retention before and got called crazy.

Sure byfield has been very underwhelming so far but there’s no reason for LA to move him for a package like that especially with Kopitar in the twilight of his career at this point

I wouldn't even say he's been underwhelming, as an Oilers fan watching him this year in that RD1 series imo he was their best player after Danault. Dude does all the little things right and once the point production steps up even just a bit for him he's gonna be great 2c material

Only problem with turcotte is that he is one concussion away from never playing again, bruins risked it before trading a 1st for Kase because he had really high potential and we got burned. Can’t see Sweeney making that same mistake again especially when we can just move Ullmark next off- season for a good haul when we have 25 mill in cap and teams can’t pull the “oh you are in cap hell we aren’t giving you half his value” excuse. Or we can just wait to the TDL when teams gets desperate for a starting goalie and the bidding war begins

I'm not sure I would do Brannstrom for Arvidsson straight up... I'd look for a bit younger forward. DeBrusk at 26 was perfect

I don't know how much their value differs tbh. Both affordable and productive on expiring deals. I don't think it's as big a gap as say you other than age which is a plus if Sens wanted to Debrusk around. Although, he could be asking for a lo more $.

I think DeBrusk has significantly more value than Arvidsson (age plays a good part), at the same time not the crazy difference some would want you to believe on CF. I mean, they are both UFAs.

They wouldn't and shouldn't, but that's all the Kings would be interested in.

Try swapping Byfield for Turcotte and removing Frederic + a pick, Kings arent moving Byfield and thats a huge package for Arvidsson +

I think he’s still gonna be a solid player but for a 2nd overall pick he’s been less than expected so far
